We ourselves have been buying and selling Mid-century furniture for our business Crazybuttonsvintage since 2013 which has given lots of opportunity's to learn how to take care of items and insure their safe arrival

The Van:
Using a long wheeled base high roof Mercedes Sprinter. An impressive internal measurement of 4.2 metres long, allowing for larger items. The van is equipped with a ramp and sack barrow so allows ease of movement for those heavier items such as washing machines etc. A box trailer is available for extra capacity. We use lots of furniture blankets, ratchet straps and bungees to make sure your items are secure when travelling. Fully-insured - goods in transit - public liability
Paul:
Owner and transport manager.
I already had a background in delivery and customer service working for Royal Mail as a postman for 17 years. My partner and I founded our furniture business, Crazybuttonsvintage in 2013 and after having had many negative experiences with furniture couriers we decided that we could offer a better service. I started out using the van that we already had, part-time whilst working for Royal Mail, to help other shops in the area for collection and delivery of their bought and sold items, so I have many connections with furniture dealers and a good repour with auction houses so this was a natural step. I enjoy the freedom and meeting new people and hopefully our services will take the stress out of moving your item.

Admin / Marketing.
Sarah has taken on the admin & marketing of both our businesses as well as offering personal and business support to others in the area.
